LARISSA HANNA

EDITOR

Larissa is a first-generation Assyrian American who spent most of her time as a child watching movies with her mom and sister. She took her love for storytelling and graduated from Oakland University with a BA in Cinema Studies, specializing in Filmmaking and minoring in Communication. Larissa also studied Korean language and cinema at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. She speaks four languages and loves latte art, crochet, and drag queens. She commonly brags about attending a lecture from the translator of the Bong Joon-Ho film Parasite.

A line from a film that best sums up HER life:

"In the end, we're all fruit." - My Big Fat Greek Wedding
